Project Description

Controllers are outdated. They are digital and do not allow for complex controls without a lot of unnecessary effort and a lot of buttons. By combining image processing and control systems controllers could be used for more complex systems without adding a lot of buttons and difficulty. Using image processing would also allow for intuitive changes rather than the user having to step through inputting the control in the correct sequence. Visual servo systems will allow users to move freely without being constrained by a physical controller device like what is currently used. Since the robotics will be controlled by a visual servo and not a physical controller they will be easier to use and put less strain on the user.
