Weight Lifting Fitness Tracker
A Computer Engineering Senior Project
This project combines hardware and software components together to create a weight lifting fitness tracker. A few small, inexpensive sensors will be used to measure the amount of weight being lifted as well as how many reps and sets are done. Each exercise will be analyzed individually. As each exercise is completed, it will be recorded and sent to a local database. The user can then access the data using the weight lifting fitness app, which will be designed for android phones. The app will recommend the weight and reps to be done to maximize efficiency. This combination of hardware and software design will make fitness tracking faster and more convenient which should improve a user’s fitness.
