Project Description

Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) can used to measure blood oxygenation changes in the scalp, which are an indicator for brain activity

Hyperscanning refers to measuring the brain activity in two or more individuals simultaneously

The NIRS Lab here at USU uses a NIRS system to perform language and learning studies, but did not have tools to analyze data in a Hyperscan setting
