Perfect Stride is an advanced training device for experienced runners who want to perfect their stride, or for beginners who want to start developing an effective stride technique. Perfect stride uses an accelerometer to monitor the deceleration of the runner’s stride. The data from the accelerometer is sent to a microcontroller.
The microcontroller is programmed to read the accelerometer data and determine how much the runner is over striding. After over striding has been determined the microcontroller activates a speaker to alert the runner to reduce the length of their stride.
