Remote Control Boat with Camera and Depth Sensor Capabilities
For my senior design project I am making a remote controlled boat that can be used for both academic and recreational purposes. Academically it can be driven around the shoreline of a lake to monitor the ecosystem there. There will be a camera pointed downward in order to send back images to the remote. In addition to the camera the boat will collect the depth of the lake in that spot. One can also use it for recreation. Whether you just want to drive around a boat or you want to find the best fishing spot in order to avoid snags and to find deep fishing pools. This project involves micro-controllers, motors, and radio communication.
