Software Defined Radio for Communication Between CubeSats

Software defined radios are a growing field in the communications realm. It takes what is normally made with complex hardware, and performs the same tasks in software. Our project is to make a software radio designed to be used in small satellite applications. It will use a high speed processing chip (FPGA) and a new high tech radio chip. We will demonstrate the function of the radio by sending live images from one computer to another using our system.
